As a band and family we’ve been so blessed to have had another year ministering the love of Jesus with a not so loving world.  It’s Christmas Eve, and we’re so excited to celebrate the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus again!  Below is some scripture that has blessed our lives. We pray it blesses yours too! And our hope is that you would know Jesus Christ’s love deeply this Christmas.

John 1:1-5

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 1:14-18

The Word Becomes Flesh

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”
16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

Isaiah 9:6-7

The Government of the Promised Son

6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

p.s.- Tomorrow morning we’ll be releasing a Christmas single, The Little Drummer Boy.  It will be free for download at least until the New Year.  So get it and give it while you can!  May the Lord Jesus bless you this holiday season.
